When passing by the City of Max along Highway 83, you will notice something odd standing on the community pond. The 11 foot tall culvert may look a bit out of place, but it’s there for good reason!

RTC, Bremer Bank, and Bremer Insurance have joined together to sponsor the Max Plunge. The Max Park Board is the group behind this annual fundraising contest. The goal of the contest is to guess when the culvert will fall through the ice. With the purchase of a $5.00 ticket you get three guesses for the month, day, hour, and minute that the culvert will plunge through the ice.

Prizes include:
1st place - $500 cash
2nd place - $250 cash
3rd place - $100 cash
4th place - $50 cash
