Last summer RTC began Fiber-to-the-Home projects in Emmet, Ross, and White Earth. Contractors completed plowing the fiber optic cable and now it's time to hook it up at each home and business.

RTC contractors are going door to door in these areas to cutover customers' services from the old copper cable to the new fiber optic cable. Thanks to fiber optics, customers in Emmet, Ross, and White Earth will soon have access to RTC Advanced Video (TV) service.

Our Fiber-to-the-Home project is a huge undertaking, but it has many benefits. Fiber requires less maintenance than copper cable. It provides additional bandwidth, which will allow RTC to offer higher internet speeds, and it allows RTC to offer Video service in new areas. Fiber will also allow RTC to offer additional services in the future that haven't even been thought of yet!
